Dear Lovett Families,

School starts just around the corner on Tuesday! YEAH! Thank you to our administration, teachers, staff and PTO volunteers for working so hard to get this year off to a great start!

Check your calendars to make sure you have the revised dates and times for Meet the Teacher (Thurs, Sep 3) and Supply Pick up (Fri, Sep 4). Scroll down for more details below.

Thank you to our School Supplies team: Kate Lange, Ruby Gamboa and Jaimee Mathis + many volunteers that helped sort and distribute all of the supplies last Friday.

Thank you to our School Store team: Maia Miley & Aiesha Moore who cleaned up the School Store/PTO Room and took inventory of all our T-shirts. We hope to make them available for sale soon!

School Supplies sales have been extended through the first week of school. Orders must be placed by Friday, Sep 11. We will determine a pick-up date later and communicate that to the appropriate folks.

Now that we know who our kids' teachers are, please be sure to update their teacher assignment in Membership Toolkit HERE. This makes it easier for classmates to find you in the directory and assists the PTO in distributing class T-shirts more easily.

Parent Course for Virtual Learning

-now through September 4-

To ensure parents and guardians are better informed, HISD has designed this course to provide an introduction to virtual learning and guidance to support your student's virtual learning experience. It is being offered in English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Arabic. Get started HERE.

Mrs. Vlaskamp's Retirement Parade

-September 16-

The retirement parade for Mrs. Vlaskamp will be September 16 and starts at 6pm at 5127 Cheena Drive. Make a sign or bring a noise maker and drive by to say "Thank you!"
