-Restaurant Spirit Night Partners- Los Tios Mia's Table Chick Fil A Raising Canes Chicken | Dear Lovett Families, This week, I want to share a compliment about Lovett that was shared with me. I was speaking with a mom whose son was quarantined last week and she commented that she was impressed with how seamless the transition was from in-person to virtual school. It’s nice to know that all of the planning, training and preparing are paying off in these unprecedented times. As much as we hate change (flipping back and forth from virtual to in-person), I want to acknowledge how much we appreciate Lovett's teachers and staff for their dedication and flexibility. I think we can, I think we can, I think we can….make it to our goal by the end of our Lovett Rocks with Gratitude campaign. As of Monday, we reached 72% of our financial goal of $40,000 with 25% participation. As I say every week, let’s get that participation number higher! No gift is too small! Our first Virtual Book Fair kicked off on Monday and runs through November 22nd. Take advantage of getting some holiday shopping done while supporting our school library. 25% of proceeds will go directly toward buying new Scholastic books for our library! Speaking of the holidays, they are fast approaching, which means that Holiday Parties will start being planned soon. Our Lovett Rocks with Gratitude Campaign for the 2020-2021 school year is now underway. This is our annual fundraiser to help supplement the school's annual budget and provide additional resources to our teachers and school. The funds raised will be used to help make virtual learning more effective, support efforts to make face-to-face learning safer, and enhance our campus with various capital improvements. No gift is too small and we hope to have 100% family participation.

In addition to building your library for your young readers, remember all proceeds from the book fair go towards purchasing books for our school library. The Scholastic Book Fair is back! While the Fair will be exclusively held online this year, we still plan on making it a fun experience for our kids. This year's fair will include an online store, with a large selection of titles, at the right price points! - More details to be sent soon! - Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A |
