President's Message

Hello Lovett Friends!

Don’t forget! This is the final week of Book Fair, so make sure to visit https://bit.ly/LovettFall21BookFair to browse the store and purchase your books. If you sign in and create an account, the Lovett library gets 25% of the proceeds. We sent the link (and a list) to grandparents who are on the hunt for holiday gifts, so make sure to pass the info along to your loved ones too! Everything is online now through November 21!

We’ll be out of school next week, so mark your calendars now for the next Lovett Restaurant Night -- Monday, November 29 at Escalante’s in Meyerland. You can dine in or take out any time that day and Lovett will get a portion of the proceeds. See you there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner maybe!

Thanks to everyone who was able to participate in our Lovett Rocks campaign so far! We’ve had a stellar response this past week. We’re closing up the campaign this week, so there’s still a few days left to give. You can give online here, or if you prefer, you can donate cash or check at the Lovett front desk. We’ll send out a recap after the Thanksgiving break.

Final Call: Lovett Rocks Campaign

LAST CHANCE!!! We are shouting WE LOVE LOVETT! We are focusing our efforts to complete the renovations on the playgrounds. We encourage every family to make a meaningful contribution. NO GIFT IS TOO SMALL. We are very sensitive to the continued financial stress that the COVID-19 pandemic has on our community and we appreciate each family’s gift.

Our goals are to raise $40,000 and have 100% participation from our families. Every penny helps! Find out more and donate today!

Nov 29- Spirit Night at Escalantes

Take a break from the turkey and bring your family for dinner at Escalentes on Monday, November 29th and the restaurant will donate a portion of your check to the PTO.

Please present this flyer to let your cashier know you are participating in the fundraiser. We are grateful for the support of neighborhood businesses!

Dec. 11- Bellaire High School Cheer Clinic

The Bellaire High School cheerleaders are hosting a one day Cheer Clinic on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 8:30-1:00 p.m. The Cheer Clinic is open to boys and girls, K-8th grade. Registration can be completed here.

Art Club: Sign Up Today!

Students will have the chance to explore different mediums beyod what is learned in the classroom. Art Club sessions are 3 weeks long. Sessions are open to all 1st through 5th graders with the exception of Portfolio Building. Art Club sessions are $50 each.
