Principal Thompson will update us on what’s happening around the school; Mrs. Warner will talk some about library, literacy, and technology at Lovett; and we’ll share the Spring 2022 PTO Calendar outline so you know what’s coming up in the year ahead.
I hope that this final week before winter break is a great one for you and yours, and I want to share one more set of thank yous to folks who volunteer with the Lovett PTO. I’m discovering that there are so many more people to thank than can be covered in one month, so be on the lookout for more in the new year. But here goes. Thank you to Meric Pinkerton for helping to resource and celebrate our Lovett teachers all year long. Thank you to Kurt Dawson for leading the way with Lovett Dad’s Club. Shout out to Myra Phillips who coordinates all our awesome restaurant spirit nights. And lots of gratitude for the Lovett PTO Board: Annemarie Cruz, Martha Davis, Seema Dawson, Sarita Dillard, Becky Moreau, and Suzanne McAndrew.
Volunteers drive everything we do at Lovett, and there will be several opportunities for YOU to serve in the spring. Join us on Thursday evening to learn more. And let me know if you have any questions in the meantime!
