President's Message

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

We’ve got some great fun coming up at Lovett!

First, a reminder that Coffee in the Park with Principal Thompson is next Friday, February 18 at 7:45am. Come to Meyerland Park (right next to the school) after drop off, and stay to chat with Principal Thompson and other Lovett parents.

And – this year’s Lovett Fun Run fundraiser kicks off on Thursday, February 24. Each day, students will learn leadership and teamwork lessons leading up to the Fun Run event on Friday, March 4. We’ll be raising money to purchase new CleverTouch boards to replace the aging smart boards in Lovett classrooms. Be on the lookout for more information in the days ahead!

Save the date for our next (virtual) PTO meeting on Thursday, February 17th at 7 p.m. Zoom details will be sent out in our next newsletter.

Feb 18th- Coffee in the Park with Principal Thompson

Join Principal Thompson and the Lovett Admin Team for coffee and conversation in Meyerland Park after morning drop off.

Save the Date: Feb 24-Mar 4- Fun Run

Get ready for your student(s) to run, walk, or sprint their way to helping raise money for Lovett! Any donation amount is welcome and all students will get to participate in some fashion. The students will earn daily prizes for pledges and flat rate donations received. More details will be sent soon!

Save the Date: Sat, April 2nd- Lovett Auction

Mark your calendars for our annual Lovett Auction to be held at Evelyn's Park on Saturday, April 2nd at 6 p.m. More details to follow.
