President's Message

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

Great work so far on Boosterthon! Your kids are doing an amazing job raising money for new CleverTouch smart boards (eight of them if we hit our goal). Speaking of which, we’re more than halfway to our goal of $40,000, and we still have two full days left! Keep up the great work.

If you haven’t registered yet at mybooster.com, do it today – it’s free, quick, and easy! Then you can donate or share with family and friends who might want to give. Our family had some unexpected luck just by sharing on facebook, so consider doing that tonight!

The Lovett Fun Run is this Friday, March 4 on the big playground at Lovett. We are so excited to celebrate your students and all their hard work. And parents are invited to join in on the fun! Students will be running at these times:

5th - 7:55am
4th - 8:50am
3rd - 9:45am
2nd - 10:40am
K/PK - 12:00pm
1st - 12:55pm

We encourage you to bring your signs and your school spirit as we watch our owls race around the track to help their school! Thank you so much for all you are doing to support Lovett Elementary, and let me know if you have any questions!

Friday, Mar 4th- Boosterthon Fun Run

Get ready for your student(s) to run, walk, or sprint their way to helping raise money for Lovett! We're nearing our goal of $40,000 for new CleverTouch Smartboards as part of Lovett's long-term vision to upgrade and outfit our classrooms with the latest technology.

The Fun Run is just one way we're taking steps, jumps, and leaps to make this vision come to life. Parents are invited to join the fun this Friday!

Fri., March 25th- Mother-Son Dance

CORRECTED!! Join us for our Annual Mother/Son Dance complete with a DJ, photo booth, selfie station, fun light up activities and a goody bag available for purchase as well.

Sat, April 2nd- Lovett Auction

Mark your calendars for our annual Lovett Auction to be held at Evelyn's Park on Saturday, April 2nd at 6 p.m.

Sat., Apr 23rd- Spring Carnival / Fun Day

CafÃ© Picquet

Café Picquet is another one of Lovett’s new corporate sponsors this year. Not only are we coordinating restaurant nights with them to generate funds for us and business for them but they also donated funds for the PTO and this past Monday, they treated all of Lovett’s Teachers and staff with a wonderful Cuban style lunch during Teacher In-Service day on February 21st.
