Dear Lovett Family,

Thank you for a fantastic first Virtual PTO Meeting last Thursday evening. We had over 40 people tune-in for the meeting, including our Principal, Assistant Principal and Magnet Coordinator. The meeting minutes have been posted HERE and an audio recording is available HERE (the meeting starts at around 12 minutes).

I also want to give a BIG THANK YOU to Vanessa Egan & Daly Gentry for organizing and running a successful Spring Book Fair. These ladies have organized the last 6 book fairs over the past 3 years. Thank you for your dedication to our kids and our school!

So, we're entering the final stretch of the year and that means we are looking for new volunteers to join committees, lead committees and lead the PTO as officers! Read on for ways you can help contribute to this transition of leadership.

Join the PTO Nominating Committee! Do you have lots of friends in the Lovett Community? Do you want to help the Lovett PTO but donâ€™t have time to serve on the Board? Then, the PTO Nominating Committee is for YOU! This committee helps identify PTO members to serve on the PTO Board and fill key committee positions. The goal is to identify these leaders before the May 14th general PTO Meeting. We'd like to have parents from every grade represented. Summer Enrichment

Given the state of the world, we are not certain whether the Lovett Summer Enrichment program will be available or not. That said, if if is cancelled, there will likely be a process to refund those who have already registered and paid.
