Dear Lovett Family,
I hope everyone has found masks to wear as we start venturing back into the world again. Despite the local news, I don't have much to report at Lovett, but wanted to share a few updates and reminders in case you haven't gotten to them yet.
First, there is a new "Getting to Know Mrs. Gaines" section on the Lovett at H.O.M.E. page that your kids won't want to miss. Check it out HERE!
Second, the Intent to Return to Lovett form needs to be completed by TOMORROW, April 30th. This form is required by the district for ALL STUDENTS, both Magnet and Neighborhood students. The form must be completed in order to secure your child's enrollment at Lovett for the 2020-2021 school year.
Finally, although the official deadline has passed for nominations for new PTO leaders, we're still open to suggestions! Are you looking for ways to support Lovett as a volunteer? Do you want to influence how PTO fundraising dollars are spent? Do you want to provide even more opportunities for learning and growth for Lovett students? If you answered "yes", consider putting your name in the hat to serve on the Board. Specific positions we need to fill include:
Secretary (board position)
Fundraising VP (board position)
Auction Committee member

Given the state of the world, we are not certain whether the Lovett Summer Enrichment program will be available or not. That said, if if is cancelled, there will likely be a process to refund those who have already registered and paid.
