SUBJECT: The Lovett Letter - December 3, 2023

December 3, 2023
Message From the Principal

Hi Lovett families!

I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving and looking forward to a longer break in just a few weeks. As we prepare to close out 2023, I need your support with focusing on getting your child here on time. We have seen an increase in our student attendance(yay!), however we have a steady rise in student's that are coming to school tardy. Students should be in their classrooms no later than 7:40 a.m. The most ideal time to arrive is 7:30-7:35 a.m. as this gives them time to unpack, put instruments away if needed and get breakfast if needed. Students arriving 7:40 a.m or after miss morning work time as they are usually trying to unpack when instruction has already started. Let's focus on this these next few weeks of school to close out 2023 strong.

Volunteer Opportunities
AUCTION

Want to volunteer or contribute at Lovett but not sure where or how? Join the Auction planning team!  We have a Kindergarten parent who's stepped up to the plate and is Chairing the event.  A huge thanks to Mary Kidd for leading the charge!  She needs help with ideas, planning, auction logistics, etc.

If you like to throw parties this committee is for you!  Find a spot and join the fun!
