Leader in Me Family Mission Statement

Each class at Lovett created a Class Mission Statement at the beginning of the school year, setting an authentic classroom mission apart from a ho-hum list of classroom rules. A family mission statement can do the same thing! This month's "Leader in Me Family Focus" is on creating a family mission statement. A family mission statement is important because it provides a framework for shared values, promotes communication and unity, guides decision-making, and helps the family adapt to change while preserving its identity and legacy.

Have you been wanting to get to know other Lovett families but don't quite know how to break the ice? The Auction Committee is seeking themed Kid, Family or Adult Social event ideas and also volunteers to host! At the Lovett PTO Auction Night on February 10th, participants can sign up and pay to attend the Socials that are held at a time and location preferred by the host. All proceeds will go to Lovett PTO and the host family will provide and pay for the social event activities.

Ideas from last year: Kid's Popsicles in the Park, 5th Grade Pool Party, Wine & Tapas Tasting, Taco 'bout a Party...and so many more, be creative! We need your ideas and/or time/money to host a creative Social to help raise money for our awesome school.

Raising Canes Spirit Night

Scholarship Workshop

This workshop is for grades 9th-12th, undergraduate and graduate students. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend the event as well. The workshop will provide valuable insight on applying for scholarships. When registering for the workshop, please enter the name Clara Gerard, in the section that asks who recommended them to register for the workshop. Thank you in advance!
