Leader in Me Family Mission Statement

Each class at Lovett created a Class Mission Statement at the beginning of the school year, setting an authentic classroom mission apart from a ho-hum list of classroom rules. A family mission statement can do the same thing! This month's "Leader in Me Family Focus" is on creating a family mission statement. A family mission statement is important because it provides a framework for shared values, promotes communication and unity, guides decision-making, and helps the family adapt to change while preserving its identity and legacy.

Yearbook photo submissions are now open! Share your favorite memories of your child, child’s class, or school event to help capture our amazing journey together.

Here’s what to do:

Submit high-quality photos to the following email address Yearbook@lovettpto.org

Make sure to include the following information with each photo:

• Student Name:
• Teacher Name:
• Student Grade:
• Event: (Examples: 1st day of school, Grandparents day, Boosterthon, et…, only if applicable)

Student Council Meeting this Monday

Upcoming Student Council Meetings on January 22nd, February 26th, and April 15th.

Time: 3pm to 4pm

Please pick up your child from the back circle drive off Birdwood. If your child is to walk home please click HERE to fill out the Independent Walker form and send it with your child to the student council meeting.

Sunrise Center

The HISD Sunrise Center department has partnered with the BakerRipley Gulfton Sharpstown Campus to serve as a family hub for learning, resource services and so much more. The Sunrise Center will also be able to connect families who wish to take advantage of the various enrichment courses offered to children, young adults, and adults by signing them up for the BakerRipley membership.
