Name That Book Team
Name That Book is a literary contest, coordinated by the HISD Department of Library Service that serves to acquaint HISD students with classic literature as well as contemporary award-winning books, representing a variety of genres. Lovett has two teams, K-2 and 3-5. Students who are interested in trying out for team should visit the Name That Book page to see the list of books and tryout date. Teams practice for the last 30 minutes of the school day, once per week, from October through the contest date. The district-wide competitions are held in the spring.
